Double Up Food Bucks at Kansas Allen County Farmers' Market

As we are about to begin another exciting market season, many of our customers will will participate in the Double Up Food Bucks program, a healthy food incentive program that helps low-income families eat more healthy food and supports local farmers.

SNAP participants who shop at a participating farmers market swipe their EBT cards to get SNAP tokens to use for their purchases. For the first $25 of SNAP tokens they purchase, they will receive a matching amount of Double Up Food Bucks tokens that can be used to purchase fruits and vegetables.

Double Up Food Bucks is also offered at the Iola State Street, Jefferson Street and Humboldt locations.

Last season, 2017 the Allen County Farmers' Market tripled the amount of SNAP participants served and we look forward to having even more customers utilized the benefits in 2018.
