Community Members Committed to Serving You
The Allen County Farmers' Market is an open-air market with two locations in Iola, depending on the market location, vendors are either set up in parking spots in the middle of the barricaded street or parking lot to sell to shoppers. Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (KSFMNP) vouchers, are accepted*. Numerous cooking demonstrations are shared during the season as well as local talent, musicians and entertainers perform weekly during the season. Community organizations can sign up for either of the two free vendor spots to distribute information or raise funds for their cause.

2026 Local Food Producer Workshops:
Seven in-person Local Food Producer Workshops (formerly the farmers' market/direct-to-consumer workshops) will be held in February and March. These workshops are a great opportunity to connect with other producers and learn more about how to sell high quality, safe and healthy food to benefit local community. These workshops are co-sponsored by the K-State Research and Extension, the Kansas Center for Sustainable Agriculture and Alternative Crops, and the Kansas Department of Agriculture.
